The enemy within. US Senator Joseph McCarthy was hunting for “the enemy within” at the height of the cold war. Many attack him and say that the whole thing was a witch hunt. History has shown that there were many moles and sympathizers of the communist movement in the US Government.
Say what you will, but the proof is in the pudding. US military members directly involved in attacks against their own (grenade in tent). Others have committed stupid acts such as the Baghdad Zoo Bengal Tiger shooting. Many other incidents are on the books, which have gotten little or no press coverage.
Oh look! Shocking isn’t it? Three new probable players in the ideological war against the USA. All with apparent ties to Syria. Syria, can you imagine?
