Democrat Primary 2003

The war has begun. I don’t mean the war in Iraq. It is here at home, in the USA. The Democrat Party, Democrat National Committee, Clintons and their leftist friends have declared war on conservatives, moderates and George W. Bush. They want power. They are angry that they lost power in the 2000 election cycle. They will do anything to get it back.

You know the story. The wolf gets its paw caught in a trap. He gnaws his paw off to get free. The Democrats are not much different, except that they would rather gnaw off your paw. This may be a more appropriate analogy:

The story of two convicts on a chain gang.

One is doing his time. Following the rules and with proper attitude he will shorten his time in allowing him to return to freedom of life and choice. The other hates not being in control. He was so mad one day that he grabbed a gun and decided to make his boss do something that he wanted. He did not want to earn the position of power and responsibility. He just tried to take it. That is what got him incarcerated. In order to effect his escape the convict gain the power he desires he must free himself from the other convict that he is chained to. He hates not being in control. He has several choices:

Perform and be Rewarded - Play within the rules and earn privileges (slow but effective)

Do nothing - serve time and out (undesirable but certain)

Break the rules, injure others, take control through any means possible - (self-destructive and antisocial)

He chooses to cut the other prisoners hand and foot off while using the chain saw during roadside detail. He has little concern about causing damage to one that is hindering him from gaining power. The effect on others, even those who are noncombatants, is of no import to him. After all having power is what is important to him. With power he can make the rules the way he wants them. No compromise, no balance. All of the marbles, no sharing.

The problems for the actor are two. First the majority of society, though sometimes grudgingly, has agreed that the rules are necessary for general order, reasonable freedom and the survival of the whole. Although he may by force or subterfuge gain power it will be short lived and hollow. Unless he plans to align with thousands of others to force control over all of society he will be hunted down, confined again or be destroyed. Either way failure to conform to basic principles of civility is counterproductive. The damage can be extensive. The loss of one member of the society is sad, the damage to those that they attack is extensive, the peripheral damage is incalculable.
