Runnymede England is a beautiful place in the countryside. It also holds a very important place in European / American history.

On June 15, 1215 King John of England met with twenty five barons on a field called Runnymede. That field which is likely located in the Borough of Runnymede. The meeting resulted in a document, on which the King affixed his seal, which became known as the Magna Carta.
