The proactive approach goes about it in a completely different way. Every business has problems, each sector has its experiences. We review the history of both the client company and its industry as a whole. Based on the information gleaned from the review an action plan is developed in order to reduce losses by identifying patterns and weaknesses in policies, procedures and systems, strengthening those areas, implementing training and awareness programs and targeting existing problems with and eye for long term correction. Leveraging the existing human resources with a careful and cost effective application of technology reduces losses and risk to a manageable level. The remaining problems can than be handled through background checks, employee entrance and exit clearance interviews, and specific incident interrogational interviews or investigations.
